i am so serious when i say we as young adults are so starved and deprived of community
like we as a generation - i’m talking especially young adults who are just entering the workforce - are so so lonely! i think about it all the time. between the incoming recession and cost of living crisis + the rise of wfh + processing pandemic trauma so many of us live deeply isolated lives and i think we deserve better…i’m working fully remote and i consider myself lucky because i do have friends that i see regularly but there’s a hunger for that place you can go to to be around people in an organic but meaningful way to you that is not being addressed rn! we now more than ever need communities!
shoutout to everyone with forget disorders (adhd, DID/osdd, ptsd/c-ptsd, asd, dementia/alzeheimers, schizophrenia, other psychotic disorders, major depressive, chronically ill/phys disabled people with brain fog, people with long-Covid, natural memory degradation, and etc.)
horse eating hay from the hood of a very nice car parked inside its stables we can deduce the cars engine is not in the front as the lights are still on and there is hay in its hood and nothing has caught fire or blown up or some other tragedy instead this horse is peacefully having a meal from the maw of the very machination that rendered it nearly obsolete in the transportation industry of western world this speaks to the possible forgiving nature of this horse
minos was such a pussy. if my wife gave birth to an epic minotaur baby i wouldn’t have locked him in a labyrinth. i would have taken him to the mcdonalds play place (athens) every day and let him eat as many stray mcnuggets (athenians) off the floor as he wanted. i love you hungry son
